A release from the Hollister School District outlines a new schedule of distributing their brown bag breakfast and lunch meals. Officials are making the change to reduce the risk of exposure to COVID-19 for school staff and family members .
According to the release, starting Sunday, March 29, Hollister’s new distribution schedule will be Sunday and Wednesday evenings only from 5:30 to 6:30 PM. Students will receive 3 breakfasts and 3 lunches on each of these dates.
Distribution locations include: the commuter lot at 86 and U.S. 65; the OTC parking lot; the U-Haul lot at All About Me Hair Salon; the fire station on BB Highway; the Hollister High School student parking lot, and the Gobbler’s Knob Trailer Court.
Communications Director Kim Connell reminds patrons this program is FREE and is available to ALL students in the Hollister district.
