Harrison Officials Look at Meeting Options

by: Scott McCaulley

The City of Harrison is looking at options for its City Council to meet in light of the COVID-19 Virus Outbreak.

Mayor Jerry Jackson visited with Coleman Taylor and Lisa Johnson on the Party Line Program on BOOTZ Country Monday and said officials are in conversations with the Arkansas Municipal League to consider options.

Jackson also said during the interview that for the time being, Parks in the City of Harrison will remain open but cautioned residents to remember that many different people may come in contact with things like Playground Equipment.

Jackson also announced yesterday morning the City Facebook Live presentation updating the community on the COVID-19 Situation in Harrison.

A link to that presentation as well as to the interview on Party Line can be found by going to the BOOTZ Country Facebook Page.
