Water Levels along Lake Taneycome and its tributaries were on the rise late Thursday and early Friday morning after the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers opened all 10 Gates at the Table Rock Dam Thursday afternoon in response to heavy rainfall and rising water levels on both Beaver and Table Rock Lakes.

Branson Fire Chief and Emergency Management Director Ted Martin in an interview on KRZK this morning that the rapid run-off has now seemed to slow and could result in a leveling out of the Lake Level.

Martin said that Branson Campground was evacuated due to the potential of riding water but only a part of the campground is underwater at the current time.
