MSHP Works Pair of Traffic Accidents in Taney County

The Missouri State Highway Patrol works a pair of accidents in Taney County Wednesday evening.

The first accident occurred around 6:00 on Noland Road west of Branson when a motorcycle driven by 17-year-old Jacob Weter of Branson overturned, struck the pavement, then slid off the roadway. Weter sustained moderate injuries and was taken by a private vehicle to Cox Medical Center in Branson for treatment.

The second accident occurred just over two hours later on Highway F east of Bull Creek, when a pick-up truck driven by 45-year-old Tanna Helwig of Rockaway Beach traveled of the southside of the highway and struck a tree. Helwig sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash and was taken by Taney County Ambulance to Cox South Hospital  in Springfield for treatment.
