Missouri Voters will be delayed two months in going to the polls to cast ballots in the 2020 Municipal Elections.
Governor Mike Parson issued an Executive Order today pushing pack the date of the elections from April 7 to June 2 due to concerns with the CoronaVirus Outbreak.
The order states that any person who is registered and turning 18 prior to April 7 will be allowed to cast a ballot in the June Election. The order also states that Ballots already printed for the April Election will be allowed to be used in June.
Taney County Clerk Donna Neely states in an e-mail to area media that Absentee Ballots that have already been cast for the election will be kept the Vault in the Clerk’s Office until the new Election Day.
