A historic season for the Blue Eye Lady Bulldogs came to an end Friday in Springfield as they Lady Bulldogs dropped a 58-43 decision to the Tipton Lady Cardinals at Hammons Center.
Both teams came out a little ragged, but it was the Lady Cardinals that got on track first as the team from Central Missouri slowly built a lead while keeping the Lady Bulldogs shooters off balance.
Konner Patton, who scored 15 for the Lady Bulldogs, scored her 2000 Career Point during the second quarter of the contest. Avery Arnold led the Lady Bulldogs with 16 points.
The season saw Blue Eye pick-up 27 wins and qualify for the first Final Four in Girls Basketball History.
