Postseason Basketball at all levels continues around the region:
Missouri District & State
The Branson Pirates season came to an end just as it had for the Girls team the night before, but like the night before, the Pirates gave Kickapoo all they could handle before losing 65-50 in the Class 5 Boys District Semi-final at Springfield Parkview.
The first half was back and forth and Branson actually led at halftime by one, but Kickapoo’s defense started forcing Pirate mistakes in the second half allowing them to stretch the lead and move on to the District Finals against Nixa on Thursday. The Eagles beat host Parkview 68-39 in the other semi-final.
In Monett at the Class 4 District Semi-finals, the girls games went to Carl Junction 70-22 over Cassville and Webb City over McDonald County 42-33 while the boys games went to Webb City 62-29 over Monett with Neosho beating Carl Junction 67-57.
