MSHP Works Pair of Traffic Crashes in Taney County

Troop D Officers of the Missouri State Highway Patrol start and end the day working traffic accidents in Taney County.

Wednesday morning just after 7:15, a one vehicle crash on Buchannan Road north of Branson injures one person. The accident report indicates a car driven by 17-year-old Bradley Johnson of Branson ran off the right side of the road and struck a utility pole. Johnson was not injured but a passenger in the car, 18-year-old Shelby Gresham also of Branson, did sustain moderate injuries and was taken to Cox Medical Center in Branson for treatment.

Wednesday night just after 9:30, a rear end collision on Highway 65 south of Hollister injures a woman from Arkansas. Troopers say a vehicle driven by 17-year-old Kelby Gard of Ridgedale ran into the back of a vehicle driven by 18-year-old Rachael Baker of Omaha. Gard was not injured but Baker did sustain minor injuries and was taken to Cox Medical Center Branson for treatment.
