Cotter Becomes Latest School District to Cancel Classes Due to Illness

The flu season has forced another local school to close within a week.

Superintendent Vanessa Thomas Jones tells KTLO that Cotter Public Schools will be closed on Thursday due to widespread illness. Thursday will be the district’s second AMI day.

Parent-teacher conferences are still on for today, scheduled from 2 until 8 p.m.

Both the Bergman and Lead Hill School Districts are out again today because illness. Both schools will have AMI Day 3.
