MSHP Works Three Accidents in Region Monday

The Missouri State Highway Patrol works a trio of accidents in the region on Monday.

Around 10:10 Monday morning, Troopers work an accident in Christian County on Route N north of Boez. According to the crash report, the accident occurred when a car driven by 19-year-old Autumn Brashears of Clever became airborne, struck a fence, and rolled several times. Brashears sustained moderate injuries that were treated at Cox South Hospital in Springfield.

Troopers also worked an accident in Stone County on Route A in Hurley around 3:10 Monday afternoon. The online crash report indicates when a unit being towed by a pick-up truck crossed the center line and struck an OATS Bus driven by 71-year-old Bruce Irwin of Cape Fair. Irwin sustains minor injuries and was also taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment. The driver of the pick-up, 68-year-old Albert Stanley of Aurora, was not injured.

Troopers in Barry County work an accident Monday evening just before 7:00 on Highway 86 in Wheaton. Troopers say the accident happened when a vehicle driven by 26-year-old Wesley Kissinger of Exeter struck a vehicle from behind driven by 37-year-old Jeffery Haselden of Fairview. Haselden was not injured however Kissinger did sustain moderate injuries and was taken for treatment to Mercy Hospital in Cassville.
