Pet Boarding Facility in Kirbyville Sustains Heavy Damage in Fire

A pet boarding and grooming facility in Kirbyville sustains heavy damage after a fire Saturday morning that also resulted in the death of four small animals.

According to social media posts plus information from the Branson Tri-Lakes News, fire crews from Central Taney County were called out to Best Friends Boarding and Grooming on east Highway 76 around 6:00 am where fire was reported coming from the building upon arrival.

While fire crews knocked down the blaze, it was discovered that four small animals were trapped in the facility and did not survive the fire.

Western Taney County Firefighters assisted in on the scene of the fire.
