Seneca and Monett finish as the top two schools in the Big 8 Boy Conference Wrestling Championships held Friday in Nevada.
Monett won six of the title matches with Seneca getting five, but the Indians outplaced the Cubs in several other weight classes to get the title 358-337.
Monett’s Champions were Matthew Bahl (126), Joseph Semerad (138), Elias Barrientos (145), Gunnar Bradley (152), Ethan Umfleet (160), and Harrison Merriman (285).
Cassville finishes sixth, Reeds Spring eighth, and Hollister ninth in the 10 team field.
Top finishers for Cassville were second place finishes for both Logan Tolbert (182), and Zach Coenen (195).
For the Wolves, the top finishers were Jakob McCracken (145), and Evan Wilson (160) each finishing third while Hollister got a third place finish from Damien Pera (126).
