Salvation Army Extending Warming Centers Hours to Daytime

The Salvation Army Midland Division announces that their facilities in Missouri and Illinois will open their Warming Centers during the day when the National Weather Service issues Excessive Cold Advisories when the cold index is expected to be 32 degrees for at least two consecutive days.

In a press release issued over the weekend, the organization announces that the Warming Centers operate with the help of local collaborations.

The Warming Center for the Branson Area is at the Salvation Army Facility at 1114 Stanley Street and will be open from 9:30 am- 3:00 pm on the days of excessive cold.
