Long Street Closed for Railroad Crossing Repair Today and Thursday

Press Release

The Branson Public Works Department will close E Long St. to traffic starting through Thursday for repairs to the railroad crossing at E Long St and Branson Landing Blvd.

Drivers should take an alternate route and follow the detour signs that will be posted to re-route traffic.

Missouri Northern Arkansas Railroad crews will remove the crossing panels, make repairs to the track gauge and correct some settlement issues at that crossing.

The work is expected to be completed by Thursday afternoon. Crews will reopen E Long St. as soon as the work is finished.
