Thousands of workers are being recruited for the 2020 Census.
The Census Bureau plans to hire about 500,000 people across the country to fill full and part-time temporary jobs for six to eight weeks. Applications can be submitted online at 2020census.gov.
Census workers will be paid between $17 and 23.50 per hour, according to a press release. The results of the Census will determine each state’s representation in Congress as well as how public funds are spent for schools, hospitals, and roads.
