Flooding and Winter Weather Mix in for Saturday

Run-off from the Heavy Rain Fall could still cause some impacts in the Lakes Region today while new precipitation falling today is expected to be a Wintry Mix.

The National Weather Service has Flood Warning still in effect for the Missouri Lakes Region until 10:00 Sunday Morning due to run-off that still has some roads in the region closed due to High Water.

The Flood Advisory is still in effect for the James River at Galena with the water to rise to around 16 feet later today causing some minor flooding.

Winter Weather Advisories are now in effect for all of the Missouri Lakes Region as well as Carroll and Madison Counties in Arkansas as a Snow and Freezing Rain mix is expected in the region. Ice Accumulations of around a tenth of an inch and possible 1-3 inch Snow Accumulations are possible this afternoon.
