Hollister School District students returned to cleaner classrooms after the holiday break.
Cleaning crews continued to work during the break to sanatize classrooms for the so-called “sick season” when students return, ky3.com reports. HVAC lines were flushed out to kill germs, and desks were scrubbed for lingering bacteria.
School officials are also urging parents to help prevent viruses like the flu, by washing their children’s backpacks and coats, to help keep everyone healthy for the upcoming semester.
