Another area Water System has been added to the list of those in Northern Arkansas that have Boil Orders in effect while others have now been lifted.
The Arkansas Department of Health Thursday added Diamond City Water to the list citing Treatment Upset/Interruption for the reason the Boil Order was put in effect.
Earlier Friday, several Boil Orders were lifted for some of the area districts including the Ozark Mountain Regional Water Association as well as for Lead Hill and Valley Springs Water Works.
Boil Orders do remain in effect for the Mt. Sherman, Nail-Swain, Deer, Mockingbird Hill, Parthenon and East Newton County water associations and Jasper Waterworks, all in Newton County.
Boil orders also remain in place in the Lake Bull Shoals Estates Water system in Marion County and the South Mountain, Morning Star, Leslie and SDM water associations and Marshall Waterworks, all in Searcy County. Also on the list are the SPG Water Association in Marion and Searcy counties and the Western Grove Municipal Water in Boone, Newton and Searcy counties.
Meanwhile, the City of Harrison in a release earlier this week reminded their customers that the City’s Water System is not under a Boil Order, stating that the City receives it’s water from the Carroll-Boone Water System which is not on the list of water systems under Boil Orders.
