The next to last day of 2019 saw the wrap-up of Holiday High School Basketball Tournaments as well as the last games for College of the Ozarks at the Bellevue Classic.

In Springfield, Blue Eye wins 5th Place in the Pink Division of the Pink and White Lady Classic at Drury University knocking off Nixa 49-37 while Strafford defeated Branson in the White Division 5th Place Game 56-41. Blue Eye also earned one of the Sportsmanship Trophies awarded during the Tournament. Fort Smith Northside edged out West Plains 55-53 in the Pink Division Championship Game while Classen of Oklahoma rolled by Ozark 70-47 in the White Division Title Game.

A couple of miles south at Missouri State University, the final day of the Blue and Gold Boys Tournament saw Bolivar take 5th in the Blue Division beating Branson in overtime 53-46 while Reeds Spring lost the Gold Division Consolation Game to West Plains 46-33. A pair of Class 2 Schools take home the titles with Hartville winning the Blue Division over Rogersville 52-46 while for the first time in the 74-year history of the tournament, the host Greenwood wins a title, beating Kickapoo in the Gold Division 65-55.

In Walnut Grove, two Lakes Area Teams played for 3rd Place in the Boys Tournament as Forsyth edged Hollister 63-62 while Hollister wins a close 3rd Place Girls Game over Ash Grove 62-61. Pierce City and host Walnut Grove took home the Boys and Girls Tournament Titles respectively.

In College Basketball, College of the Ozarks sweep their games on the final day of the Bellevue Classic as the Lady Bobcats take out Grandview 81-66 and the Bobcats outscore Midland 105-95. C of O sweeps both games of the Classic on the Women’s Side while the Men split their two games.
