The Missouri State Highway Patrol works a pair of accidents in Taney County Saturday.
The first accident happened just after 8:00 Saturday Morning injuring a man from Arkansas. The online accident report indicates the crash occurred when an SUV driven by 33-year-old Matthew Barnes of Lead Hill ran off the right side of F Highway east of Bull Creek and impacted an embankment. Barnes, who was not wearing a seat belt according to the accident report, sustained moderate injuries that were treated at Cox Medical Center in Branson.
The other accident occurred about an hour and a half later on Highway 65 south of Hollister when an SUV was stopped for a traffic signal. A pick-up truck began to slow down behind the SUV but couldn’t avoid hitting the vehicle. Two people from Kansas in the SUV, Travis and Brittany Debarge, sustained minor injuries that were treated at Cox Medical Center in Branson while the driver of the pick-up, Marvin Bowman of Ozark, was not injured.
