The Community Blood Center of the Ozarks is experiencing a shortage of Type O Negative Blood and Type AB Plasma.
In a release from the CBCO, it asks donors of that type of blood or plasma to consider donating at an upcoming Blood Drive or at the Donation Center on Plainview Road in Springfield.
There are two drives coming up in the Lakes Region next week with one at Mercy Hospital in Berryville on Monday from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm and the other next Thursday the 26th at Cox Medical Center in Branson from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm.
CBCO Blood Donors during the month of December receive a maroon long sleeved shirt.
