Winter Weather Advisory in Effect for Lakes Region

Winter Weather Advisory in effect until 6:00 for Northern Arkansas including Boone, Carroll, Madison, Marion, Newton, and Searcy Counties in addition to Advisory in effect until Midnight for Southern Missouri Counties including Taney, Stone, Barry, Christian, Douglas, and Ozark.

Also, Lead Hill is dismissing school at 12:30, Bergman and Valley Springs Schools will dismiss at 1:00 today. Harrison Middle School and North Arkansas College dismissing at 2:00. Updated Cancellation information available on Hometown Daily News Dot Com.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the Branson Lakes Area until Midnight tonight.

Rain and Sleet with some Thunderstorms are moving through the Lakes Region this morning and some Snow will be mixed in later this afternoon as temperatures stay around the freezing mark most of the day.
