Emergency Personnel worked several accidents in the Lakes Region including a fatality accident east of Spokane in Christian County.
That accident occurred on Highway BB around 5:45 Sunday Morning when a pick-up truck driven by a 16-year-old Female from Ozark left the roadway and struck a tree. The unidentified female, who was not wearing a seat belt according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol Accident Report, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The MSHP also worked an accident on Saturday in Stone County on Stallion Bluff Road south of Shell Knob during the Noon Hour Saturday. Troopers 33-year-old Courtney Quessenberry of Pierce City lost control of her SUV that went off the roadway and struck a tree. Quessenberry was not injuried in the accident but two passengers in the vehicle did sustain moderate injuries that were treated at Cox Hospital in Monett.
Branson Emergency Personnel worked an accident late Sunday afternoon that involved one vehicle that had rolled over with a person trapped in the vehicle. According to a Facebook Post from the Branson Professional Firefighters Local 152, the patient was extricated with the help of the Branson Police Department as well as personnel from Taney County Ambulance and the Taney County Sheriff’s Office. No other details on the accident have been released.
