by: Scott McCaulley

The combination of Snow and Sleet along with Thunderstorms caused some areas to lose power for a time today.

Ozarks First reports that over 700 customers with White River Valley Electric were without power for a while this morning in Stone County.

As of 2:00 this afternoon, there were still just over 100 customers without power reported by White River Valley in Douglas County while Barry County Electric Co-op reported just under 100 customers without power.
