After having fallen just short of the title in 2018, this year’s edition of the College of the Ozarks Lady Bobcat Volleyball Squad takes on the National Christian College Athletic Association Division 1 Volleyball Championship taking Judson University in four games.

The Lady Bobcats soared out to an 8-1 lead in the first game and secured a 25-17 win. Both games two and three saw the Lady Eagles from Illinois grabbing the early lead and while C of O rallied in Game Two to grab 25-18 win, Judson continued to put the pressure on in Game Three grabbing a six point lead and never letting the Lady Bobcats get any closer than three points in netting the 25-17 win.

Game Four saw C of O re-take control of the match, soaring to a 10-0, then 18-8 lead and securing the championship taking the game 25-15.

Rielly Wallace and Ryley Thixton each had a double-double in the Championship Match to lead C of O.  Wallace had 31 assists and got 14 digs, while Thixton recorded 21 kills and 29 digs. Wallace was named the National Tournament’s Most Outstanding Player.

The Lady Bobcats, the tournament’s Number Three Seed, finish the 2019 season at 24-13.
