Another discussion took place at Tuesday’s Branson Board of Alderman meeting as to the funding of the 76 Project of installing sidewalks and moving utilities underground, the board once again did not have the votes to pass the Bill on second reading keeping the project on hold.

With Alderman Rick Castillon absent, the no votes of Kevin McConnell and Larry Milton prevented the ordinance for passing as Alderman Brian Clots, Bob Simmons, and Bill Skains voting yes.

During discussion, all the alderman agree that the project at some point should go forward but McConnell and Milton expressed concern over committing to the project until after some of the procedural steps are completed.
