Two Injured in Deer vs. Vehicle Accident

Two people escape with only minor injuries after a deer vs. SUV collision in Stone County late Sunday afternoon.

The Missouri Highway Patrol reports the accident happened around 5:20 on Highway 13 north of Branson West when the SUV driven by 61-year-old Tammy Howard of Galena hit the deer that was in the roadway.

Howard and a passenger in her car, 57-year-old Donna Elder of Reeds Spring, were taken to Cox Medical Center in Branson for treatment of their injuries.
