Two accidents worked by the Missouri State Highway Patrol took place in the Lakes Region on Friday evening.

The first happened around 6:50 in Barry County south of Washburn injuring a person from Arkansas. Troopers say a pick-up truck driven by 31-year-old Tabatha Dorsey of Rogers traveled off the right side of Highway 37 at which time Dorsey over-corrected and went off the left side of the road and struck a bluff. Dorsey was air lifted to Mercy Hospital in Springfield with serious injuries.

Meanwhile one injury results from a car vs. pick-up collision in Stone County on Highway 413 north of Reeds Spring around 7:30 Friday evening. The Highway Patrol reports the pick-up, driven by 60-year-old Marie Hopkins of Blue Eye crossed the center line and collided with a vehicle driven by 59-year-old Robert Richards of Joplin. Hopkins sustained minor injuries that were treated at Cox Medical Center in Branson.
