After a rainy and cold period over the last few days which still sees some Flood Warnings in effect for this morning in Barry, Douglas, and Ozark Counties, the region will experience major weather shifts over the next few days.
After temperatures in the 40’s today, the region will see readings in the 60’s in many areas over the weekend before a new system brings in more rain, possibly mixed with some snow, and even colder temperatures to the region. This will start Sunday Evening through Monday with temperatures forecast to plummet into the 30’s Monday afternoon and into the teens that evening and overnight.
High temperatures Tuesday are only forecast to be around freezing before warming back into the 40’s on Wednesday.
