With a vote to decide on Sales Tax Ballot Issues that would fund the construction and operation of a new Recreational Facility in Harrison coming next week, an ordinance passed on First Reading at a Special Meeting last week that would dissolve the current Park Commission and form an Advisory Park Board in it’s place.

The Ordinance as stated would dissolve the commission and form the new board no matter what the results are on the two ballot issues next Tuesday.

The Ordinance will be up for Second Reading at the Harrison City Council’s November Meeting then be read for the third and final time at the December Meeting.
