Branson Soccer Pirates Fall in District Finals

The Branson Pirates 2019 Soccer Season ended as the area Class 5 District Runner-Up as the Pirates fall to host and top seed Ozark 6-1 Thursday in the District Championship Match.

The Match was even after 15 minutes after Carlton Epps scored a goal to answer an early Ozark score, but then a few minutes later the Tigers started a string of three goals before half to take control of the match and eventual take the title.

The season ends for Branson at 19-5 with the Pirates advancing farther then anytime before in program history as well setting several individual marks including Kyle Sutton’s mark of now being the all-time leading goal scorer in the program’s history.
