by: Madison Hever, Ozarks First

A train and a tractor-trailer collide Sunday night at the Morgan Avenue crossing in Aurora according to information received by Ozarks First.

The 911 call came in at 8:16 p.m.

There were no injuries, according to Aurora Fire Chief Robert Ward.

Aurora Fire and Police departments were on the scene, as well as BNSF Railway.

Ward tells Ozarks First the truck was not moving at the time of the accident nor was the driver in the truck.

Chief Ward did not disclose what company the truck was with, but said the product it was carrying was nonhazardous. The train was with BNSF.

Crews were working to clear the debris which had closed three of four railroad crossings in town.
