Troop D of the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports working five accidents in the region yesterday including three that involved residents of the Lakes Region.

Tuesday morning around 6:15, a Crane man sustained minor injuries when his vehicle ran off the road and struck a tree on Highway 413 in Crane. 19-year-old Colton Elder sought his own treatment of his minor injuries.

Another accident in Stone County that occurred during the Noon Hour injures three people. The MSHP Report indicates the accident happened on Highway 160-248 north of Reeds Spring when a vehicle driven by 61-year-old Donna Eason of Kimberling City was hit by a vehicle driven by 79-year-old Kenneth Hall of Plato after Hall’s vehicle failed to yield to Eason’s car. Eason sustained moderate injuries and was taken to Cox Medical Center in Branson for treatment while Hall and a passenger in his vehicle, 75-year-old Carol Hall, were taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment of their moderate injuries.

A Branson Man escapes injury in a two vehicle accident west of Springfield in Greene County around 8:30 Wednesday evening. Troopers say 52-year-old Richard Mease was making a left turn at Highway B and Independence Drive when his vehicle was struck by a vehicle driven by 71-year-old Karen Paulson of Springfield. Paulson did sustain minor injuries in the crash that were treated at Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
