The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports working a pair of accidents within an hour of each other late Friday into early Saturday, both in Taney County.

The first happened around 11:45 Friday night on BB Highway in Hollister when a car driven by 28-year-old Patrick Cummiskey of Hollister ran off the roadway striking a rock bluff and overturning. Cummiskey was not injured but a passenger in his car, 29-year-old Jordan Wilson also of Hollister, did sustain serious injuries and was taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment.

The second accident happened around 12:30 Saturday morning near Kissee Mills on Highway 160, when a vehicle driven by 23-year-old Chandler Stasiak of Kissee Mills ran off the right side of the roadway, striking a tree, and turning over before coming to a rest on its wheels. Stasiak was taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment of moderate injuries.
