It’s been several weeks since major rain has fallen in the Ozarks.
That could change over the next few days as the remnants of what was Tropical Storm Imelda will work their way up through the Ozarks beginning later today. While know official watches have been released by the National Weather Service, forecasts for the region due state some area could receive 1-3 inches of rain.
The rain from Imelda will hit most areas between this afternoon and Saturday evening. Another frontal system will bring more rain chances on Sunday afternoon to the region and cool temperatures down just in time for the season change. Summer ends and Autumn begins early Monday morning.
