Both Branson and Hollister face tough losses while Reeds Spring rallies for a win and Forsyth picks-up their second win in a row. Meanwhile in Arkansas, Harrison wins again while Berryville and Green Forest suffer their first losses of the season:

-Both the Branson Pirates and Hollister Tigers lose one point games in different ways. For the Pirates, they built a 13-0 lead over the visiting Ozark Tigers before serveral injuries depleted the roster and the Tigers roared back in the second half to secure a 14-13 win. Meanwhile, Hollister fell behind the Catholic Irish in Springfield before closing the gap to one late in the game only to be held out of the end zone on a two point conversion as Catholic held on for a 21-20 win.

-The Reeds Spring Wolves had gone four quarters in a row without a score going back to the second half of last week’s loss to Seneca and the first half of Friday’s game at Rogersville. The Wolves got their offense on track as they controlled the second half en route to a 19-7 win.

-Behind the three touchdowns of Corgan Strong, the Forsyth Panthers win their second straight game after going winless in 2018 as they pick-up a 36-6 win over Greenfield.

-The Harrison Goblins roll to another win as they take their home opener over Siloam Springs 33-7. After picking up two early touchdowns, the visitors did tally a touchdown to cut the lead to seven but the Goblins quickly retook control of the game and closed out their third win of the season.

-After opening week success, both Green Forest and Berryville went down to defeat in Week 2, the Tigers losing 7-0 to visiting Commerce, Oklahoma while the Bobcats dropped a 31-14 decision at Huntsville.
