Two area schools will begin their 2019 High School Football seasons tonight while others will play their second week of games.
Berryville and Green Forest debut for the 2019 season tonight as the Bobcats will host West Fork and the Tigers will hit the road to play Yellille-Summit.
Meanwhile, the Ozark Mountain Media Group of stations will feature teams in their second week of the season.
It’s rivalry night for the Harrison Goblins as they have their annual match-up with the Mountain Home Bombers. The Goblins have dominated this series, especially over the last few years including a 56-7 win last year. Tonight’s game will be played in Mountain Home and can be heard on 1029 the Z.
In Missouri, three of the Lakes Area teams will host their home openers tonight. Two of those teams, Hollister and Reeds Spring are coming off wins. The Tigers will entertain Lamar while the Wolves will host Seneca. Hollister Football will air on 981 FM/AM 1220 KCAX while Reeds Spring Football will air on MY 100.1 FM KOMC. The Forsyth Panthers will host Jasper tonight with that game to be heard on KCAX Saturday Morning at 9:00.
The Branson Pirates, coming off a win in their home opener last week, will hit the road for the first time as they travel to Neosho in a game that will air on 106.3 KRZK.
The Harrison Goblin Pre-Game Show in the Z will start at 6:00 while the Pre-Game Show for the other games tonight begins at 6:40. After the games, the weekly High School Football Scoreboard Show will air on 1029 the Z.
