Hundreds of people gathered at Branson Landing Monday morning as the new Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen officially opened for business.
Paula Deen was in attendance for the Ribbon Cutting with City officials and the Branson Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce. After the Ribbon was cut, Deen posed for pictures and then went into the restaurant for interviews and more photo ops with residents and fans.
When asked how she felt about this Grand Opening in Branson, Deen said, “I think this might be the warmest welcome, ya’ll of any of my restaurants. I almost cried.”
Those in attendance were impressed with her great sense of humor, genuine warmth and approachability.
The restaurant, which serves lunch and dinner Family Style, will be open 11 am-9 pm everyday with extended hours until 10 pm Friday and Saturday.
