Wednesday, Branson Police detectives following up on several recent burglaries and vehicular break-ins arrested a suspect committing an active burglary at the Walnut Lane Motel on W. Main Street.
During this investigation, detectives identified several suspects and recovered quantities of assorted narcotics, counterfeit money, and multiple pieces of stolen property. The primary suspect arrested this morning has been linked to three recent burglaries: Wyndham on Champagne Blvd.; Sugar Leaf Treats and Ja’Boa Jewelry at the Grand Village on W. Highway 76. Detectives also recovered stolen property from multiple recent vehicle break-ins and continue efforts to link the property and to the rightful owners.
The suspect is in custody at the Taney County Jail pending formal charges by the Taney County Prosecutor.
