7th District Congressman Billy Long stopped in the Lakes Region on Tuesday to attend two different events.

Long started at Silver Dollar City for the announcement of Mystic River Falls as the new attraction in their Rivertown area for 2020, the park’s 60th Anniversary of operation.

Later in the day, Long stopped in Branson at Faith Community Health to tour their facilities and learn about their program to supply affordable Health Care to the uninsured in the community. He visited with invited guests and media members as part of his stop at the facility.

Long said during his comments that with his position as Missouri’s only representative on the Healthcare Subcommittee, he tours and learns about Health Facilities throughout the state. He applauds Faith Community Health for their efforts to provide affordable Healthcare for the workforce, especially in an area with so many people employed in the tourism industry.
