BRANSON, Mo – The Branson Parks and Recreation Department has rescheduled the “Movie in the Park” that was scheduled for August 9th, for Friday, August 16th because of pending weather.

This event, sponsored by Branson United Methodist Church will be held at the Branson RecPlex soccer fields. Gates will open at 7:30 p.m. with games and activities, followed by a showing of the movie “Christopher Robin” beginning at dusk. Branson United Methodist will be providing free ice cream and bottled water to all in attendance.

Branson Parks & Recreation will also host another FREE Movie in the Park on Friday, October 11, with a showing of “Goosebumps” at Liberty Plaza Park.

Movies in the Park are offered as a fun family activity for the area community and visitors. These events are free and guests are encouraged to bring their own blankets and chairs.  Please call the Branson RecPlex at 417-335-2368 for more information.
