A man suspected in a shooting incident that critically injured a man from Jasper has turned himself in to authorities.
Newton County Sheriff Glenn Wheeler said Tyler Blue Breedlove contacted law enforcement through a third party and agreed to meet with a Probation and Parole officer and Newton County Deputy at a family member’s house, where he surrendered peacefully.
Breedlove is now in the Newton County Jail, booked on existing warrants and will be interviewed about the Thursday evening shooting. The man Breedlove is accused of shooting, Ralph A. Ross was airlifted to a Trauma Center after the Thursday shooting where he is now listed in critical, but stable condition but with several surgeries ahead according to Sheriff Wheeler’s statement.
