The National Weather Service continues to monitor a system that could bring another round of heavy rain to parts of the Ozarks.

According to the latest information from forecasters, confidence is high on an event that could produce six inches of rain or more but the exact track of the system and what areas will get the most rain is still in question.

Current projections show a potential of 3.5-4 inches of rain in the region with the main threat to begin Saturday evening into the early part of next week.
