The College of the Ozarks Baseball Bobcats are one of four teams that will play tonight in the National Christian College Athletic Association World Series Semi-finals in Easley, South Carolina.
The Bobcats, after having dropped the first game of Pool Play in the tournament on Wednesday, won two games Thursday then outlasted Warner University 5-4 in a 10 Inning Game earlier today to advance to the semi-finals. Bobcat Assistant Coach Justin McMillan reported on his Facebook Page that the Bobcats rallied with a homer in the ninth by Westin Gann with Jay Kaufman hitting a pinch hit walk-off single in the 10th to secure the win. The Bobcats got three hit pitching over 10 innings from Ozzie Sindland and Sean Neal to keep the Bobcats in the game.
The Bobcats will play in the second semi-final tonight against Concordia University-Ann Arbor at 7:00. Southwestern Christian will play Warner in the first semi-final at 4:00. The two winners will play for the NCCAA World Series Title on Saturday.
