The Harrison Lady Goblins Soccer Class of 2019 has has a special run as they claimed a third state championship if four years, claiming a 5-2 win over Pulaski Academy to take the title Monday in Fayetteville.
While the Lady Goblins held a 2-1 halftime advantage, the second half saw the Lady Goblins take control with three straight goals to claim the school’s seventh State Championship overall.
Two other squads took second place in the competition that had been postponed from Saturday to Monday due to weather. The Harrison Boys lose their State Championship match-up to Valley View 2-1 while Green Forest lost to Central Ozark Christian in the 3A Boys Title Game.
Meanwhile in Missouri, an area school claimed a State Championship over the weekend. The Blue Eye Girls, carried by three first place finishes in four of the relay events, claimed the Class 1 Title by a point over Worth County.
