Harrison Mayor Seeks Volunteers to Save Recycling

From Mayor Jerry Jackson:

“The City of Harrison needs your help. We are on the verge of loosing our recycling due to too much trash mixed in. Over the next few weeks, we will be using several methods of relaying information regarding the proper items that are recyclable.

On Tuesday morning, starting at 9:00 AM, we will be meeting at city hall. We will have a picture by Harrison Daily Times, then create a short video, followed by putting labels on containers in ward three. We will be doing all wards.

We could use your help, if you could join us for a few hours. You don’t need to live in the city to help. We are looking for teams of three to work Tuesday morning. The team should consist of two walkers and a driver. Please let me know if you can help. Thanks”
