Central Bank of Branson has awarded five high school seniors with $500 each for their first year of college. The First Annual Community Leadership Scholarship was awarded to Johnathan Hale and Emile Gephart of Branson High School; Marc Brazeal of Hollister High School; and Shelby Strailey and Madelynn Emerson of Reeds Spring High School.
“We are very excited to be able to award these students our First Annual Community Leadership Scholarship,” said Joe Loth, President and CEO. “Being a community bank, we believe strongly in giving back to others and supporting our neighbors, much like these students have modeled. We were humbled to read all of the impressive submissions from these bright individuals. Thank you to everyone who applied and for your contributions to making the Branson area a great place to live!”
These students were selected from among their peers based on their GPA and an essay they submitted to the bank describing their contributions to others and the community and reported on the challenges and rewards from the experience.
