Two accidents injure two people in the Lakes Region Sunday Evening.
The first accident happened around 6:00 on Highway 176 in Stone County east of Galena when a vehicle driven Heath McClain, 37, of Merriam Woods failed to yield when making a left turn and collided with a vehicle driven by 59-year-old Little Webb of Galena. Neither driver was injured but a passenger in the first vehicle, 32-year-old Tiffany McClain, did sustain moderate injuries and was transported for treatment to Cox South Hospital in Springfield.
The second accident occurred around 9:50 just east of Branson on Highway 76 in Taney County when a car driven by 42-year-old Matthew Ray of Branson attempted to get around a vehicle making a left turn when another vehicle coming from the other direction swerved to avoid the vehicle and ended up hitting it head on. Ray was not injured but the driver of the other vehicle, Grace Young, 19, of did sustain minor injuries and was treated at Cox Hospital in Branson.
