The Branson Board of Alderman passed unanimously the first official reading on three Ordinances that begin the process of putting the Tax Increment Financing Plan for the Aquarium at the Boardwalk Attraction into place.
The Plan, which was moved forward to the board from the TIF Commission, would assist the developers in putting the project into place on the site of the vacant Grand Palace building on Highway 76. The developers are planning for a March 2020 completion for this part of the project.
The final step in putting the TIF Plan in place will be passage of these ordinances on a final reading which is scheduled for the next Branson Board of Alderman Meeting on February 26.
