Pair of Weekend Accidents Worked by MHP

The Missouri Highway Patrol reports a pair of accidents in the Lakes Region this weekend.

The first happened early Saturday Morning just after Midnight on Highway 160 east of Merriam Woods in Taney County when 25-year-old Seth Nilges of Forsyth ran his vehicle off the left side of the highway and struck a rock embankment. Nilges sustained minor injuries and was taken to Cox Hospital Branson for treatment.

The second accident occurred in Stone County on Highway 413 north of Crane just before 7:00 Sunday evening when a car driven by Jere Beymer, 63, of Billings failed to stop at an intersection and struck a vehicle driven by 22-year-old Bailey Harness of Ozark in the side. Both drivers sustained minor injuries with Beymer taken to Cox South in Springfield while Harness was transported to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment.
